Faticorns aren’t just a cute or fierce-looking NFT featuring a mystical unicorn, it’s a fantasy world, complete with all the trials and tribulations that you would expect— even war!
This article aims to walk you through the basic outline of the story and how it relates to our roadmap.
Birthing Events
Every generation has its own birthing event. This is planned to occur 1–3 weeks after a generation is triggered.
We say 1–3 weeks, but we are aiming for the lower end of the scale. The extra potential time is to allow us some wiggle room.
During the birthing event, all the crystals for a given generation will crack open and your Faticorn will emerge.
Introduction — Story overview
A small introduction into the origins of the Faticorn.
Our first section of story has no corresponding roadmap event, it simply helps to develop a backstory and lead us nicely into generation 1.
Generation 1 — Tranquility
We join the Faticorns at the end of their epic story. A peaceful time in which they have decided to bridge the gap between their world and ours in a bid to spread some joy and happiness.
What items will we see?
This is the end of their journey and the Faticorn society is thriving and is much like our own in terms of technology. Expect to see a mix of modern items like; iPhones, laptops, and Rubix cubes mixed in with potions and magic wands.

The roadmap starts here with the launch of Faticorns:
Generation 2 — Primitive Dangers
Taking a step back in time, we join the Faticorns at the start of their life. A primitive time, a wild time, a hostile time.
What items will we see?
Being a primitive age for the Faticorns you can expect an array of simple tools, basic weapons, cave dwellings, campfires, magic paraphernalia and hostile creatures. Faticorns at this stage are also likely to be grouped into tribes with their own unique body paint.
Roadmap
Starting generation 2 means new items will be introduced. As with all generations, the new items will have their own rarity map and there will be potential for some extremely rare and valuable finds.
Generation 3 — Building Up
Faticorns progress to building a town, but growing bigger makes them a target and danger starts to grow.
What items will we see?
Building a town takes tools, materials and planning. This montage of a generation will see an array of tools, craftsman/craft-faticorns and advancements in existing items.
Roadmap
Generation-specific items, skins, pets and backgrounds will be used and of course, the story will progress.
Generation 4 — Goblins attack
A Goblin horde attacks the Faticorns.
What items will we see?
Faticorns will defend themselves with what relatively primitive weapons and armor they have. Some might take a few spoils of war. Expect to see; weapons, armor, battle backgrounds and some geared-up pets.
Roadmap
Faticorns will get the new generation items and there will also be a custom NFT released. Yep, you will be able to own both Faticorn and Goblin in the same wallet.
Advancement in the story.
Generation 5 — Assassination mission
In an attempt to prevent further Goblin attacks a band of Faticorn heroes ventures into the Goblin caves to kill their King.
What items will we see?
Specific classes start to emerge, items relating to; rogues, archers, mages, warriors and much more. We will also see goblin lair-related backgrounds and more battle-hardened pets.

Generation 6 — Peaceful times?
Believing the threat to be extinguished the Faticorns continue to advance their community and technologies.
What items will we see?
As the Faticorns gain knowledge we see progression in their; tools, weapons, armor, magic, skills and pets. We might even sneak in some rare steampunk pieces.

Generation 7 — There be pirates
Goblins and Kobold form an alliance and the Faticorns look to the seas to further strengthen their forces.
What items will we see?
Expect to see Faticorns with eye patches, peg-legs, hooks and all types of pirate attire, as they sail the seven seas.
Roadmap
Being a pirate-themed generation we just had to throw in a treasure hunt. The prize has yet to be decided, but we are leaning towards a rather nice amount of Ethereum.
The hunt will involve a trail of puzzles and riddles spread across the digital Faticorn universe, but fair warning, things will get pretty cryptic.
This generation also has a few key story characters that are going to be created as unique NFTs and auctioned off. All proceeds will be given to charity. More on this closer to the time.
Generation 8 — Seeking allies
Things start to heat up and the Faticorns realize they too need allies, better weapons and armor.
What items will we see?
Bigger and better weapons are created, magic and the mystic arts start to be perfected. A huge war is on the horizon and Faticorns are gearing up and training hard. Some even unlock their hidden powers.

Generation exclusive items and new story plot points.
Generation 9 — WAR!
The Goblin army launches a full-scale attack and the Faticorns hold nothing back. As with any war, heroes emerge and sides are taken.
What items will we see?
War is never pretty and this is true for some of the items. You might find a few Faticorns wielding the severed heads of their fallen foe. Fallen Faticorns, brought back by Goblin necromancers wandering the battlefield.
Not going to lie, this generation is going to get dark and a little weird — ever seen a frog in full armor swinging a battleaxe?
Roadmap
As with the previous Goblin attack, we will release more Goblin army NFTs. This time a bigger wave to reflect the size of the army.
Custom items will be released along with the story advancements.
We will be auctioning off another round of one-off storyline characters with all proceeds going to charity.
Generation 10 — Powers unlocked
Donutopia help the Faticorns to unlock their inner powers and protect the lands
What items will we see?
An array of crazy elemental and arcane powers will be released, some rarer and more powerful than others.
Roadmap
Completion of the story and final release of generation exclusive items.
Ascension Event
With mystical powers surging through the lands the ascension crystals start to crack. The heartbeat of the creatures inside can be heard all across Fatopia and creatures gather in the temples to view this once-in-a-lifetime spectacle.
Legendary Faticorns are born and of course, this would happen after the massive war, typical!
